From web development to building Shopify apps — here's how we got here.
The Beginning
Webmakers Studio started as a web development studio in 2018. We built everything from React apps to custom e-commerce solutions. Over time, we noticed our best work happened when we were solving real problems for Shopify merchants — conversion optimization, custom apps, headless storefronts.
The Pivot
In 2024, we decided to go all-in on Shopify. We launched Superpop, our gamified email capture app, and started focusing exclusively on the Shopify ecosystem. Themes, apps, headless commerce, CRO — everything we do now helps merchants grow their stores.
The Apps
Superpop is live on the Shopify App Store, helping merchants turn browsers into subscribers with interactive games. Superreel (our shoppable video app) is coming soon. We build products we believe in, and apply the same product thinking to client work.
The Future
We're doubling down on Shopify apps and custom development. More apps, better tools, and selective client work for merchants who need headless commerce, theme development, or conversion optimization. Focused, product-driven, and merchant-first.
