Case study·Luxury For You

From a Shopify storefront to a custom headless flagship.

How we migrated Luxury For You from Shopify to a custom headless build on Next.js and the Storefront API — full redesign, bespoke features on top.

Luxury For You — Going Headless with Next.js & Shopify

The brief

Luxury For You is a global luxury-fashion retailer — thousands of designer pieces across womenswear, menswear, and more. They had outgrown their existing Shopify storefront: they wanted the speed, design freedom, and bespoke functionality that a templated store couldn't give them.

So we moved them off the standard Shopify front end entirely and rebuilt the experience headless — a custom Next.js storefront powered by the Shopify Storefront API, redesigned from scratch, with custom features layered on top.

What we built

A headless storefront on Next.js

We kept Shopify as the commerce engine and replaced the front end with a fully custom Next.js application talking to the Storefront API. That gave Luxury For You edge-fast page loads, total control over markup and design, and the freedom to build experiences that a theme simply can't express.

A redesign worthy of the labels it carries

The store now looks the part. We rebuilt the visual identity around an editorial, gallery-like aesthetic — calm whitespace, considered typography, and full-bleed campaign imagery that lets the product breathe.

A catalog built for scale

With tens of thousands of products across dozens of designer brands, browsing had to feel effortless. We built fast, filterable category pages, brand navigation, and custom merchandising — including member pricing — on top of the headless architecture.

Headless gave us room to design beyond the catalog. We created bespoke editorial sections that help shoppers find their style by persona and occasion — the kind of considered, brand-led storytelling that turns a store into a destination.

We rebuilt everything — a blazing-fast Next.js frontend, seamless Shopify integration, and a visual identity that finally feels as premium as the products.

The outcome

Luxury For You now runs on a custom headless foundation: fast, fully bespoke, and designed to match the brands it sells. Shopify still powers the commerce behind the scenes — but every pixel the customer sees is theirs, and ours to evolve.
